Bus Driver, Teacher and Other Vacancies for Both ECISD and MISD 8/24/12

MIDLAND, TX - The first day of school is right around the corner for Midland and Ector County Independent School Districts, both school districts tell us they still have vacancies in multiple departments.
In Ector County the school district needs to fill 12 bus driver openings, 25 food services openings and they still need 17 teachers.
In midland they still need 61 bus drivers, 51 custodians, 84 people for food services, 2 secondary teachers, and 3 elementary school teachers.
Midland ISD tells us they will have enough bus drivers for the first day of school, but that scheduling will be tight saying their shortage is due to the competitive economy right now, and the school district has to work with a budget.
