UPDATE 2:30pm
Officials on the scene tell us the man found dead is 41 year-old William Wade Green.
Our crews on the scene report investigators in white suits are going into the home where Green’s body is.
Green is listed as the homeowner at the residence.

Our crews on the scene report that the crime scene has been expanded on Redbud, from 17th to 21st Street.
City of Odessa Public Information Officer Andrea Goodson is on scene.
We are working to get more information.

Police tell us a male’s body was found in the garage of a home by family members.
Police are expanding the crime scene tape in the area of the 1700 block of Redbud in Odessa.
They are still working to determine if the cause of death was natural or not.

UPDATE 12:56 PM
Odessa Police have confirmed they are on the scene investigating a body.
They tell CBS 7 they are working to determine if the cause of death was natural or something else.
Officers on scene say they received the call just before 11:30 this morning. They say relatives discovered the body.
Odessa - Odessa police are looking into a report of a person found dead in the 1700 block of Redbud.
At this time, it is unknown whether the person died of natural causes or by other means.
