This week's Sunday’s Child features three precious boys who are all a little timid on camera. But they were filled with energy when we took them to the water park in Odessa.
6-year-old Julian, 5-year-old Sebastian and 3-year-old Luis wade out into the water at Sherwood Park swimming pool. It is a child's fantasy land and these three are quick to find the slides that guarantee the fun.
The boys have been in foster care for two years which means that's the only life little Luis has ever known. Because of the neglect they suffered in their biological family, all three are just a little delayed in the development. But their potential to live a normal and happy life is excellent.
Talking to me was not top of their list today. But one question definitely got their attention. I asked them if it was important that they be adopted together. The answer was a resounding yes. These three boys deserve to have a loving family to share a happy life.
