Rain Chances Increase This weekend 08/17/12
Friday Morning Weather Update
Greg Morgan – Chief Meteorologist
Rain chances will be on the increase today and this weekend. A combination of an upper level low pressure system and a cold front will set the stage for isolated thunderstorms today, followed by more numerous thunderstorms on Saturday and Sunday. Temperatures will be cooler through the weekend as well. Expect highs in the upper 90’s to lower 90’s.
Rain chances will decrease late Sunday into Monday. However, a few clouds will remain. As such, the temperatures will still be a little cooler on Monday. Look for highs struggling to get out of the 80’s on Monday.
Sunny skies will return to the area on Tuesday of next week. Dry conditions will follow with highs returning to the mid 90’s.
