Odessa Couple Asks For Community Help For Woman Severely Injured in 14 Car Pile Up 8/11/12

Odessa, TX – An Odessa couple is asking for community support for a woman severely injured in the 14-car pile up on I-20 in Stanton on Monday. Sheila Fugate has broken legs, pelvis, nose, ribs, back, wrists and elbow.

Fugate was air lifted to Medical Center Hospital and later transported to Lubbock. She and her family were in the process of moving to West Texas from California.

Richard and Brandy Aguilar witnessed the crash and stopped to help victims, one of which was Fugate. The car Fugate was in rolled over multiple times and first responders used the Jaws of Life to get her out of the car.

The couple is asking for community financial support to help pay for extensive medical expenses. An account is set up at Western National Bank under the name Sheila Fugate Fund. The account number is 22297596.
