7 Year-Old Injured in Drunk Driving Crash Recovers After Surgery 8/9/12

Odessa, TX – A 7 year-old Odessa girl is recovering in a Lubbock hospital after her leg and ankle were crushed in a crash involving drunk driver.
Family members tell us LaTasia Pryor was flown to a Lubbock hospital Tuesday night, after she was pinned between two cars, crushing her left leg and right ankle.
Family members say she is out of surgery and is doing well and is in good spirits.
Police say 45 year-old Martina Cooper Hernandez was drunk, went to a home in the 2100 block of East 9th, and tried to run over a man, but smashed into multiple cars.
Pryor was inside one of those vehicles and seriously injured.
Hernandez was arrested and is facing multiple charges.
