Odessa - A 44-year-old woman in Odessa is facing several felony charges after a confrontation with her husband ends with several cars damaged and a 7-year-old girl being pinned between a car and a house.

Odessa Police say around 8:30 Tuesday night, Martina Cooper Hernandez is said to have been drinking and was intoxicated when she drove to the 2100 block of E. 9th Street to confront her husband.

In an attempt to strike her husband with her car, officers say Hernandez crashed into a white GMC Yukon and a white Chevy Impala.

The 7-year-old girl that was trying to get into the Impala at the time was seriously injured.

The girl's mother was not injured.

A witness then tells authorities that Hernandez tried to flee the scene on foot and was detained by a witness.

Hernandez is charged with failure to Stop and Render Aid, Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon and Intoxication Assault.
