Isolated Storms and More Heat Today 08/07/12
Tuesday Morning Weather Update

Dry conditions are expected for most locations this afternoon. However, an isolated thunderstorm or two will be possible, mainly over the NE Permian Basin and Marfa Plateau. High temperatures will climb to around 100 for much of the region today under partly cloudy skies. Winds will be out of the SSE at 5-15mph.
A chance of isolated showers and storms will again be with us on Wednesday and Thursday. High temperatures will be in the upper 90’s to around 100 both days.
By Friday, high pressure will become established across the region. This will keep temperatures elevated and rain chances low through the weekend.
