Hot and dry will continue this weekend. 8/3/12
A ridge of high pressure aloft will remain in our area at least another day. This will once again cap the atmosphere, giving us serious, triple digit heat on Saturday. The ridge will shift slightly westward on Sunday and the first of next week, helping to bring temperatures back down into the upper 90's. Mostly sunny weather is still the norm.
