Police Recover Stolen Items from Nine Vehicles 8/2/12
MIDLAND – A 17-year-old and a 16-year-old have been arrested is connection with the break into nine vehicles.
According to Midland Police, on 1:30 am on Aug. 1 police noticed a “suspicious person,” wearing all black near the area of Haynes and Godfrey.
The “suspicious person” saw police and ran away.
A MPD K-9 unit was called in and found the subject near the 2400 block of Flare Court.
A second subject was later apprehended. One of the suspects cooperated with police, leading law enforcement to seven different homes the pair reportedly broke into nine cars.
The stolen items are being processed and will be returned to the owners.
The teen boys are reported as; Dustin Pertile, male, age 17 of Midland, and Nathen McDaniel, male, age 16 of Midland. Both are in custody and being charged with Evading and Burglary of a Motor Vehicle.
