MIDLAND, TX – City leaders have been talking about revitalizing downtown for years, but they feel their vision is finally becoming a reality. According to Midland City Councilman John James, the downtown vision is coming to fruition, with housing, retail, and restaurants coming to the downtown area. The City has also hired an employee to oversee the downtown efforts and City leaders have been traveling to other cities for ideas on developing a thriving downtown.
