Odessa, TX - Today the family of 36-year-old Rene Escobar Sanchez continued in their emotional journey to find him.

Family members and friends walked a parking lot outside of Target and Office Depot on 42nd St to hand out flyers in hopes that someone has seen him. It's been 4 years since Sanchez vanished.

"Just throughout the day it’s just hard. He’s on my mind 24-7. I’m just hoping that we find him, bring him home," said his wife Esther Armendarez.

The family said what makes his case so bizarre is that his cell phone, wallet, credit cards and money were all left in his garage.

"No phone calls, emails, letters…not even so much as word of mouth as to where his whereabouts might be. That’s why we’re just constantly trying to get some information,” said his brother Javier Sanchez.

The family recently received a tip that someone saw a man matching his description in the Target parking lot on 42nd St.

“Any little bit of information that somebody might have may seem insignificant to them but it could lead to something for the detectives,” said Javier Sanchez.

Every flyer that they pass out shows they're not giving up hope on this unsolved case.

"Hoping that somebody that has any information comes forward and comes out,” said Esther Armendarez.

If you have any information on his whereabouts, call crime stoppers at (432) 333- 8477.
