Fort Stockton - Kiwi, a narcotics K-9 with the Fort Stockton Police Department passed away last Friday after suffering from health problems.
The Department says the black Labrador retriever started working for the FSPD when she was around a year old, locating narcotics and certain amounts of money used in the distribution of drugs.
Kiwi was a major asset to our local police department as well as to other local agencies.
She will be missed a great deal by the Garcia Family, community of Fort Stockton, and the men and women of the Fort Stockton Police Department.
