End of the Road for Jaguar's Car 07/12/12

Odessa - CBS 7 News and the City of Odessa responded today to a mother who complained on our Facebook about a morally offensive eyesore on 42nd street. Fourth grade teacher Taryn Stinson made a plea that a Jaguar Gold Club vehicle be removed from the parking lot in front of the old Golden Corral Restaurant. City code enforcers quickly inspected the vehicle and found it to be in violation of safety codes. The tires had been slashed and there were no inspection or registration stickers on the vehicle.
Taryn Stinson, a mother of two, told CBS 7 News, "I think it's an unattractive nuisance. I think it's inappropriate for children to see and I think it's a drastic eyesore on our community."
City of Odessa enforcement officers tagged the car. The owners of Jaguar's Gold Club have 30 days to remove the car or face city action. Late this afternoon, new wheels were being placed on the vehicle and it appeared owners were removing the car as requested.
