In the Wake of a Cold Front, Cooler Temperatures and Rain 7/10/12
With a cold front pushing through West Texas, temperatures will be below normal for this time of year. More rain is likely this afternoon and tonight as an upper level disturbance works its way slowly southwest across our area. Favored areas for more rain today and tonight include southeast New Mexico, and most of the Permian Basin, including the Trans-Pecos. Tonight the disturbance will continue moving southwest, bringing higher rain chances to the Big Bend region, and reducing rain chances for the rest of us.
