Wednesday Morning Weather Update
Greg Morgan – Chief Meteorologist
Happy 4th of July everyone! Expect partly to mostly cloudy skies across West Texas today. Rain chances will be high over the mountains of West Texas and the Trans Pecos through the afternoon hours. However, most of the rain will be confined to the Marfa Plateau and the Davis Mountains by sunset. Look for highs in the lower to mid 90’s in the Permian Basin. Mid 80’s are expected in the mountains. Winds will be quite gusty across the area, so please be careful with your fireworks.
High pressure will begin to reestablish itself over the area going into the weekend. Expect sunny skies and mid 90’s this weekend.
