Midland, TX- Grande communications stadium was a packed house tonight all for a special concert to support the arts. Midland Community Theater presented their "spotlight concert" featuring Travis Tritt and the Charlie Daniels Band.
"It's important for the theater. It just raises a lot of money and brings a lot of our community out and a lot of our community doesn't really get involved in the theater,” said MCT volunteer, Colle Malone.
Volunteers with the theater said they are very happy with the turnout and the support for west Texas performing arts.
“ It brings everybody out for a good cause for theater and it's fun, we're all having such a good time," said Malone.
Tonight’s line-up also included Brian Keane, Mark McKinney and Granger Smith.
