Odessa, Texas – An Odessa Hospital is making efforts to retain their nursing staff. Medical Center Hospital says they are experiencing a problem keeping nurses in the industry and in west Texas. They have launched a program to help mentor new nurses and help them assimilate to the new environment. Hospital staff say the program is already proving successful and moral is positive among nurses in the program.
