Odessa - The City of Odessa has received eight proposals in response to a Request for Proposal to build a minimum 10 million gallons per day BWRO water desalination plant and a 44 mile pipeline.
The bidders included Abengoa Water, Texas Aqua Partners and West Texas Partners, all of Austin, Texas; Aquifer Group of Fredericksburg, Texas; Oscar Renda Contracting of Roanoke, Texas; Odessa Area Water Supply of Odessa; Salt of the Earth Energy, San Antonio, Texas; and US Waterworks of Orleans, Indiana.
The city is working to choose a final bidder.
