Nearly two years after an oilfield explosion near Ackerly, the second man injured when a truck burst into flames has passed away.
According to the Lamesa Press Reporter, 28-year-old Fernando Zamora passed away on Saturday in Lubbock hospital.
Back on August 19, 2010, Zamora and 38-year-old Abel Garcia were burned over 60 percent of their bodies when fumes from a gas pocket ignited and caused the explosion.
