ANDREWS, TX – Andrews law enforcement had to call the SWAT team out Friday night during a stand-off situation at a mobile home park.
Police Chief Bud Jones tells us they were called out to the home just east of the 800 block of North Main.
A man in his 20's named, Eric Figgs, was destroying his parents mobile home when the police were called out.
Figgs was knocking out all the windows, tearing up a fence, and ripping apart the inside of the home.
Figgs refused to come out when police arrived, so SWAT was called in.
SWAT used a distraction method called a "flash bang" canister to get inside the home and arrest Figgs.
He is being charged with felony criminal mischief.
No one was injured during the hour-long stand off.
