(Odessa)- About 1600 customers remain without power after massive storms hit West Texas Tuesday night.
At one point some 5,000 customers didn't have electricity after a number of power lines were damaged or knocked down.
UTPB cancelled morning and afternoon classes because of no power, and some stores like Albertson's on 42nd can only sell dry goods because their freezers were out for so long.
According to the Oncor Storm Center, 1.471 are affected in Odessa, and another 124 in Andrews.
There is no current estimation on time of restoration.
