UTPB has begun a shuttle route between its campus and the Center for Energy and Economic Diversification as well as the new Wagner Noel Performing Arts Center.

The university has started holding a multitude of courses at both locations and transportation for students became an issue.

The shuttle, operated by My Shuttle Home of Midland, seats fourteen and will pick students up at the campus Visual Arts parking lot and drop them off in front of both buildings in about ten minutes.

According to the Midland Reporter Telegram rides will be free through Monday and after that each way will cost $1 or $30 for a full monthly pass.

The shuttle will vary the number of trips per weekday based on course schedules. Departure times will reflect the beginning time of each scheduled class.

For the time being, the shuttle is an experimental offering.
