West Odessa, Texas -
A section of West Odessa is spared after a grassfire endangered some structures early this evening.
The small fire spread slightly around 26th and Vega in West Odessa coming within about 50 yards of some buildings.
The West Odessa volunteer fire department was able to contain the blaze before any major property damage could occur.
