Midland Co., Texas -
Two burglars are on the run after kicking in the front door and robbing a Midland County home at gunpoint.
According to the Midland County Sheriff’s office, two Hispanic men entered a home on the 1100 block of West County Rd. 133 around 9:15 Monday night. They demanded jewelry and cash before driving away in a blue or silver car. Sheriff Gary Painter recommends a deadbolt lock to help keep your home safe.
"Make sure you've got a good deadbolt that has at least an inch and a half throw-away, where it will give you time if they are trying to kick the door in to maneuver to safety, make a phone call, dial 911, arm yourself", he says.
The two suspects are both described as Hispanic males – one standing about 6’ tall and about 25 years old with a teardrop tattooed near his left eye and major acne on his face. The second suspect is described as short, heavy-set and about 190 pounds.
