Big Spring DPS Involved in Chase, Rollover, and a crash of Their Own 11/23/09

Big Spring DPS Troopers were busy this morning. It all started around 8 AM when they assisted with law enforcement from Sterling City in helping to pull a man over who sped through a school zone.
The chase made it up Highway 87 at Ranch Road 33 before the driver pulled over and gave up.
At that same time, a woman driving a pickup on the western side of the city lost control on a dirt road and flipped her vehicle.
4 children were in the truck but one was ejected from the vehicle. Moore said as of 10 AM none of the injuries were life-threatening.
A trooper responding to the rollover scene from the original chase struck a vehicle at the intersection of 87 and FM 700. He had his lights and sirens going at the time of the accident.
The trooper and driver of the other vehicle suffered minor injuries.
