Fatal Car-Pedestrian Crash 11/22/09

(West Odessa)- Breaking News out of West Odessa, a one car crash kills one person who Troopers say was walking down the street in dark clothing.
DPS Troopers say a middle aged Hispanic woman was hit and killed at about 8:00pm Sunday night in the 10600 block of West 3rd street.
They say she was walking down the middle of the street, and the driver of a Ford truck didn't see her.
She died at the scene.
Her name has not been released, and Troopers say it was very dark at the time of the crash.
Trooper Chad Matlock tells CBS 7: "She was wearing a dark jacket and witnesses say she was walking down the middle of the street. The driver of the truck didn't see her and struck her."
Matlock also says she didn't have any kind of identification on her at the time of the crash.
Troopers say it's too early to say if any tickets will be issued.
The woman's name has not been released.
