Odessa, Texas - An Odessa firefighter with over 30 years of experience is moving up in the ranks.
Stan Tinney was named the new Assistant Fire Chief and Emergency Management Coordinator for the City of Odessa.
Fellow firefighters, family and city officials came to support the veteran firefighter as he was honored with the promotion.
Tinney has served with the OFD since 1979 in various capacities including: firefighter, driver, captain, senior captain and battalion chief. He has earned his associates, bachelor and master degrees and is an esteemed graduate of the National Fire Academy of Executive Officers Program.
