Grandfalls, Texas - Grandfalls Mayor Jesse Ramirez has turned in his resignation.
The letter was read at last week's city council meeting informing the council that he was moving out of the area.
The council will pick an interim mayor who will serve until May’s elections. That decision should be made at next month's meeting.
