Shepperd Institute Seeks Participants for Forum 11/5/09

Odessa, Texas – For a quarter century, the John Ben Shepperd Leadership Institute has been changing the future of leadership through its annual Texas Leadership Forum. Aimed at young professionals, this year’s event is from January 14-16 at the AT&T Conference Center in Austin.
It will dovetail with the installation of Midland City Councilman John James as president of the Texas Lyceum on January 14. James will also be a forum speaker along with all elected state officials from our area, Texas Supreme Court Justice Paul Green, and former ambassador and White House advisor Karen Hughes, among others.
Participants will be able to choose from more than 20 individualized leadership training sessions, hear leading authorities discuss today’s leadership challenges, put their training to the test in a group breakout session, explore and learn practical leadership skills, and network.
Other confirmed speakers include CNN commentator Paul Begala, noted author and attorney Talmage Boston, and Steve Hildebrand, deputy national campaign manager for the Obama presidential campaign.
