Alpine, Texas - The Alpine Public Library is moving forward despite some weather set backs.
Cathy Bark, President of the Board of Directors for the library, told us the insurance company has declared the building a total loss. The trusses of the framework twisted under the pressure of the 52 mph winds causing severe damage. Bark said, “This has only slowed us down but will not stop us from building a new library.”
