ECISD Board Members Begin Goal Setting Process 11/3/09

Odessa, Texas - A special workshop meeting was held today for the ECISD board of directors to set some goals.
Board members say the current list of goals hasn't been updates since 2006. So once a month for the next two months board members will be looking at how to create goals that will support the district’s strategic plan.
ECISD Board Member Tom Pace told CBS 7, “We are not sure we agree on anything at this point, but that's why we'll continue to discuss and hopefully at the end have come to a consensus of what goals should be and what they're to accomplish.”
Pace says right now there are a lot of different views, but it's good have discussion.
The next two meetings will be held the first Tuesday of the month.
