Kidnapping Victim Found, Alleged Kidnapper in the Hospital 10/28/09

Lea County, New Mexico - A kidnapping victim is found in Hobbs, New Mexico, and her alleged kidnapper is in the hospital after apparently shooting himself.
Lea County Sheriffs Officers say they found a female in a car, and her estranged boyfriend shot in the chest lying in the road.
It happened on Sixshooter and Crockett Road, north of Lovington, New Mexico.
The man was airlifted to Lubbock for treatment.
Police say the pair were from Castro County, Texas.
Deputies say they drove all night, before ending up in Hobbs.
