$57 Million Dollar Loan Approved for Water Access for West Texas Counties 10/20/09

The Texas Water Development Board recently approved a $57 million dollar loan to ensure access to water for several West Texas counties.
The district will use the money to expand the Ward County well field and then link it to existing equipment to pipe it to users.
Abilene, Midland, Snyder, Big Spring, San Angelo and Odessa are a few of the cities that are apart of the district.
The money came from a fund that is used to acquire land and water rights to provide access to land where additional water wells can be drilled.
