Pecos, Texas - Construction is still behind schedule at the Reeves County Detention Center one and two units to repair damages caused during riots that occurred there in January and early February.
Earlier this week, representatives with the construction company handling the project gave county commissioners an update on their progress.
Right now, the project is about a month behind schedule.
Current repair estimates are in the range of $40-million dollars.
Vice president of the Houston-based construction company, Jason Haralson, says one of the main problems has been in finding construction workers.
A completion date for several of the on-going projects at the facility has been set for March 31st of 2010.
