Midland Man Facing Charges After Lubbock Fatal Crash 10/12/09

Lubbock - A midland man will soon be facing charges after a fatal crash in Lubbock.
48-year-old Jimmy Scott Barnhill was driving south on I-27 around 3:50 Sunday morning, when he struck a northbound SUV carrying Wayland Baptist University students.
A 21-year-old New Mexico student was killed. Four other students received minor injuries.
Barnhill received minor injuries and is listed in fair condition.
DPS troopers say he was intoxicated, and charges are pending as a result of the crash.
